KSA to Organise ASCA Level I, II & III Certification Courses for Coaches at Bengaluru

Karnataka Swimming Association is to organise ASCA level I, II, III Certification Course conducted by Swimming Education Research & Development Foundation for swimming coaches at Bengaluru under the auspices of Swimming Federation of India and SEARCH Foundation.

Level I Certification Course

Date: 13th and 14th February 2018

Course fee: Rs. 6,000/- (without lodging) Rs. 7,000/- (with Lodging)

Level II Certification Course

Date: 15th to 17th February 2018

Course fee: Rs. 7,000/- (without lodging) Rs. 8,500/- (with Lodging)

Course fee includes:

  • Course material
  • Classroom arrangements
  • Lunch and refreshments
  • Faculty fees and ASCA registration for 3 years

Registration: The last date to Register is on 6th Feb 2018.

Course fee has to be sent in the form of DD in favour of SWIMMING EDUCATION RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION, Bangalore along with registration form.

Who can take up the course?

For Level I – Coaches should know swimming well and shall have basic knowledge of all the strokes.

They should have served in any swim club as an instructor or lifeguards.

For Level II – Coaches should have least 6 months experience in coaching competitive swimming.

Level III Certification Course

This is an advanced course covering topics like physiology, Training methods for junior and senior swimmers and leadership which will be very helpful to all coaches. This course will be conducted by Mr. Duffy Dillon International Director ASCA, USA who has well experience in conducting such courses all over the world.

Date: 19th to 21st February 2018

Course fee: Rs. 25,000/- (without lodging) Rs. 28,000/- (with shared Lodging)

Registration: Open from 15th December 2017 to 10th February 2018 in the form of DD in favor of SWIMMING EDUCATION RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION, Bangalore.
