Niranjan Mukundan, Indian Para-Swimmer featured in Forbes U30 List on Entertainment & Sports Category

Niranjan aged 24, a para-swimmer from India has been listed in prestigious Forbes under the category "Under 30 - Asia - Entertainment & Sports 2019".

He’s one of two Indian sportspersons who recently got featured in ForbesU30Asia list in Sports category.

Niranjan Mukundan is an award-winning professional para-swimmer who was born with Spina Bifida, a neural tube defect which affects the spine, leaving him paralyzed below the hips.

In 2018 Niranjan won a Bronze medal in men’s 50m butterfly at the Berlin World Series and created an Asian record in the Men’s 200m backstroke at the same event, over the course of his carrier he has won numerous gold medals with particular success at the 2017 IWAS Junior World Games in Prague and the World Junior Games in 2015.
